About Us
The Unit started in September 2006, and at start-up comprised of 6 members & 1 leader. We currently have 14 members & 2 leaders.
In 2010 the Brecon & Glanusk districts merged to form a new district called (can you guess?) the Brecon & Glanusk District. Our Explorer Unit is in the process of updating things to reflect the new district, but in the meantime if you see a reference to "Brecon Explorers" we do mean "Brecon & Glanusk Explorers" (we're not clinging to old ways or being separatist, honest!).
Are you aged 14 - 18? Fancy giving Scouting a try? Then come along and see whether or not the Explorers are for you. You'll receive a warm welcome & will soon be wondering why you hadn't joined us sooner. Come along to any of our meetings, or better still, contact us via email & we will phone you & arrange a suitable evening for you to try out Scouting.
